"Spent a weekend in the place enjoying the hospitality of the owner, the care taker and very friendly staff. We had a great time. Stayed night in one tent. The feeling, view was amazing. Pleasure to see that everything was built closer to nature with minimum disruption to original forest. The tent was neat, clean and had everything required for our stay. Even had a walk to the “Samanala Wewa” reservoir enjoying the view around. Definitely, I will go there again. Recommend for anyone, but especially for those who looking for peaceful relaxing time to be with nature."

"A Scenic, Serene Getaway with Impeccable Food and Outstanding Service Our stay at Windy Hills Bungalow (Glamping) in Belihuloya was the perfect blend of adventure and comfort. Opting for the tent accommodation provided a truly unique experience. The tents themselves were spacious and comfortable, allowing us to feel completely immersed in the beautiful, windy, and tranquil environment, while still having essential amenities like a private bathroom—a crucial element for a comfortable glamping trip. Waking up to the incredible views of the surrounding mountains and, in the distance, the Samanala Wewa reservoir (as seen in the accompanying photos) was breathtaking. The location lives up to its name, with a constant cool breeze adding to the charm. The on-site swimming pool, conveniently located near the dining area, was a fantastic feature. It offered a refreshing escape and a perfect spot to relax while still enjoying the nature views. It created a great central area for unwinding before or after our meals. The location is beautifully isolated, offering a peaceful retreat, though it’s worth noting that the final stretch of the access road can be a bit challenging, especially for vehicles with low ground clearance. However, the spectacular view at the top makes the effort entirely worthwhile. The Full Board Meal Experience The full board package was undoubtedly a highlight of our trip, especially since we opted for the full Sri Lankan cuisine experience. The food was truly impeccable, showcasing the rich, authentic flavors of local cooking. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, and hearty, perfect after a day of enjoying the outdoors. Having all meals prepared and served, often in an outdoor dining area overlooking the scenery and the pool, allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the break. Service and Atmosphere The friendly and attentive service provided by the team was exceptional. We want to give special credit to Kamal, Sanka, and Pushparaj who looked after us so well; their hospitality and care made our stay memorable. They were welcoming, and clearly focused on ensuring a comfortable and relaxing visit. If you’re looking for a secluded spot with stunning natural beauty, top-notch amenities like the scenic pool, and high-quality, delicious home-cooked meals, the glamping experience at Windy Hills Bungalow is highly recommended.
